The google search bar has some not so obvious functionality built into it
Conversions
Try typing "1 dollar in sterling", or "20 pounds in kilos" - google handles a variety of conversions
Calculator
Nice simple calculator - try "30 * 50"
Weather
Type "weather stafford"
Time
Type "time new york"
